whats the benifit of running the rasberry pi device

You dont have to have google sheets open, it will still log it, you can open it anytime, but maybe your talking about having to have the phone or device on or open to log?

The raspberry pi means it stays connected to the your wifi, so you can check anywhere and dont need your phone or whatever near the fridge.

This means of course that the pi need to be in range of your wifi, although you can set it up to log to a memory card if you put one in it. Cheers!

How cool is that, just had a look very cool . I noticed that when the Gravity gets down to low 40 and downwards measurement goes up and down. I wonder if that's actual or just the instrument calculating. Why do i find things like this fascinating lol. Cheers

its interesting to watch it ferment and what it is doing.., specially for when it takes off..

my brew i am in the middle off the tilt wouldnt let me start a new log from start to finish, not sure if that was just purely me who stuffed up , but finally got my tilt working ,

docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1T7A1Zzk9...cd6683#gid=734290882

wasnt happy as missed my numbers well and truely

but i think going to back to what i asked i dont think i really need to invest in a pi or keep google sheets open or use it on a phone as once the tilt is in there is not much ya can do to change the data anyway when ya not at home umlike the inkbird 308+wi fi

in which i have done this in my new snubb nose fermenter from keg king withe thermowell and thats where i shoved the thermoter instead of a echo holder on the side

That one of mine Finnroo is the hefe where I added fresh wort in half way through, but also krausen messes with it a bit sometimes floating it up. Give the fermenter a nudge and its works it out. Did you see you can click down the bottom for the graph? or Chart they call it, you can see where I labelled it. Cheers!

Brewing a familiar Dark Mild later today. (hint: Was the bastard tired? Or was he run over by a tire (tyre). No one really knows). One thing for sure. It will be a treat when done. Cheers!
