ahh Something I didn't take much notice of, it would actually be beersmith recommending longer mash times for lower temps, I'm surprised the low one only had 60mins, its not always needed though but it is something to keep in mind if you do have conversion issues, 99% percent of the time you'll easily get away with 60mins. Cheers!

To open a file, you just go to the top of Beersmith and select File/open.
They shouldnt download as a text file though, if you right click and save, they should be saving as a .bsmx file
Cheers!

Thanks Gash, I will be using the new RoboBrew Gen 3.1 for the first time tomorrow. It just arrived today. These profiles will allow me to brew right away.

No I was using a Mac and when I tried to save as there wasn’t that option, just ‘download linked file’ which then saved it as a txt file. I ended up copying one of your recipes into beersmith and then saving the equipment and mash profile from that, although I now only have your medium body profiles, so I will play around later.

On a side note, my pre boil gravity and original gravity targets seem quite far apart (1.044 pre boil and 1.054 original) 10 point increase seems a bit big to me? Any idea why this might be? Didn’t know if it was something profile related.....

Yeah that is probably too far, not sure why,. Umm see how you go with the preboil reading and adjust from there, Cheers!

Hey mate, just wondering if you have a BS3 profile for the Brewzilla 65L yet? Want to do my first ever AG brew in one over the weekend, got no idea what I'm doing with BS3!

Brewing a familiar Dark Mild later today. (hint: Was the bastard tired? Or was he run over by a tire (tyre). No one really knows). One thing for sure. It will be a treat when done. Cheers!
