Worcestershire Sauce. was created by Nev666
Nice and tangy Wooshta sauce ideal for marinades and straight out drinking from the bottle.

Ingredients:
1/2 Garlic bulb
1/2ts salt
1/2ts allspice
1/4ts nutmeg
1/4ts cloves
1/4ts pepper
2ltr brown vinegar
1 cup treacle
220gm plum jam
1/2 to 1 cup chopped birdseye chilli (to taste)
Method:
Combine all ingredients in a large pot and bring to boil, reduce to simmer for 1 hour. Let cool then strain contents of pot through a sieve. Bottle and store for 2 weeks. This sauce only gets better with time. You can substitute the nutmeg for tamarind also. Enjoy!!

Without anchovies, I'm afraid this sauce may be lacking.

Sure, you can add Anchovy fillets to this recipe if desired. I wouldn't recommend more than 5 or 6.I found them to be a tad salty for this particular recipe.

I like this recipe as my girl(paws)friend is horrendously allergic to little fishies so its perfect for her - also a man who's head I live inside can take the salt out of this and still have a great sauce - or substitute the salt for a couple of little fishies :silly: I like the versatility of this

Brewing a familiar Dark Mild later today. (hint: Was the bastard tired? Or was he run over by a tire (tyre). No one really knows). One thing for sure. It will be a treat when done. Cheers!
