Cool, thanks .... it's perfect as is ... I'm sure my mini-mash setup (21L & 12L pots) can handle this grain-bill. :)

Obviously I must up the steep/mash times to 60min now, but don't the temps also change from the original recipe's 160F ? ... and what about hop additions? ... surely I can't just stick to 28g Fuggles @ 10min ???

Thanks for your help/input so far ... I just need as much info as possible, as I'm still a novice at partial mash brewing ;)

Thats over 5kgs of grain, thats a full mash!! Congrats!! Welcome to AG beer!! ;) With those pots you should be able to get away with it! Although Craig may of designed a nice beer with that much hops as a late addition it takes this beer away from a 'Porter' (IMO) style since a porter shouldnt really have much of a hop profile! Don't let that put you off though, but yes you will need to bitter it with a decent boil and some more hops. I'm interested to see what Munising comes up with!

Good to see you Munising!

hmmmm, Gush is right. 5Kg for a mini-mash is to much (and I'm definitely not prepared for AG yet), so I might have to substitute 2-3kg of that 2-row for LME + DME - closer to the original recipe spec.

Thanks for all the input guys ;)
Much Appreciated.!

not sure without looking what the DME exchange is but for LME it's 70% so use 700g of LME to replace 1kg of 2-row.

Brewing a familiar Dark Mild later today. (hint: Was the bastard tired? Or was he run over by a tire (tyre). No one really knows). One thing for sure. It will be a treat when done. Cheers!
