Oh yeah what would you recommend as a liquid yeast substitute for the Nottingham Danstar?

Just wanted to say how much this recipe impresses me...Only been in bottle for a bit over a week but couldn't wait for a test and WOW! Even being uncarbonated it was awesome. Don't know if you have tried Pirate Life Pale Ale from down here in SA but this recipe is damn near just like it. Not quite as high an IBU count but flavour and aroma are spot on. Definitely my best pale yet.

Planning to zip down to the LHBS to get some more Mosaic quick smart and get another one going ASAP ! Well played sir , well played.

Hey gash, just a quick one for ya, after the initial 15 min boil of both mosaic and cascade,do you remove from heat and immediately add second addition of hops to steep or do you recommend waiting for brew temp to drop to a certain temp? Or have I got it all wrong? This only my second brew so I'm very much a novice!
Cheers Dave

For my version , as soon as I kill the heat on the boil , I chuck my flameout hops into the hop bag, put the lid on and let it sit for 10-15 minutes , then whirlpool and allow it to settle for another 10 mins and drain. Very happy with my results.

Brewing a familiar Dark Mild later today. (hint: Was the bastard tired? Or was he run over by a tire (tyre). No one really knows). One thing for sure. It will be a treat when done. Cheers!
