G'Day, I have never tried all grain brewing or been on any forum before so sorry I'm green. Have purchassed 50L Guten. Have grain - .3kg Vienna, 4.7kg Premium Pilsner -Weyermann. 100g German Hallertau Perle Hop pellets. I would like some sort of guide (recipe) to follow. Mash/Sparge volume, times. Hop addition steps? Also have Saflager 34/70 dry yeast 11.5g. Cheers

Hello Dieseldog. I personally don't have a system like yours how ever this video and link would be very helpful for you with what you've got. As a novice you wont need to worry about the decoction step. Also don't worry if you don't have all the salt additions etc . The recipe is for i think about a 23 liter batch . Hope this helps you get started on your way to your first all grain. Cheers and enjoy.

Here is the recipe in detail

Sorry for delay in reply, chaos here with the kids, and I've stopped getting notifications for some reason, well I think I know now, had to reinstall windows and most things just stopped without me realising..
This may of been easier than the decoction video for t a first go, but the decoction is sooo good, :)

Cheers

Brewing a familiar Dark Mild later today. (hint: Was the bastard tired? Or was he run over by a tire (tyre). No one really knows). One thing for sure. It will be a treat when done. Cheers!
