Gathering my kit slowly, temp controller for fridge, 3 ring LPG camp cooker, 10 ltrs sauspan ,30 ltr plastic ferm, bits, pieces, starsan, + spray bottle or 2,
large clean/sterilise tub, timer, couple of thermometers. What else ?
no ingrediants yet, taking my time.
wanna make Gash's "Hoppy Pale Ale Extract" for starters.

Re: the "Hoppy Pale Ale Extratct" brew,.. is it possible to cold steep some crystal malt grains, then boil with hops 15/ 1/ min ....and add something to increase the ABV. Optimisticallyt aiming to nail my first attempt of the recipe and improve the head retention and alcohol volume and impress my doubting friends/ family who say I;m wasting my time.
Im up for this challenge, and any advice coming will be way welcome.

slowly gettin there, spent nearly 5 hunj and no beer yet, but going to plan. i converted the old bbq wok burner and practised a 8.75 ltr boil in the shed, needs to have lid on to really roll. Played around with my ITC308, just takin my time. appreciate any advice on anything and cheers all.
