Welcome, your going in the right direction for sure, If you can get hold of a old fridge and set up a fermenting chamber to keep the fermenting temp stable would be a huge step forward. Also Gash has a chanel on youtube called GashSlugg and has heaps of great videos on brewing Tips , well worth watching. Cheers

G'day mate, sounds like youre on the right track! Maybe next step would be steeping or mashing a some grain and doing a short boil with some hops! As Finnroo mentioned a fermenting chamber is a very good idea, just an old fridge with a temperature controller and heat belt will do the trick!
Cheers!

Brewing a familiar Dark Mild later today. (hint: Was the bastard tired? Or was he run over by a tire (tyre). No one really knows). One thing for sure. It will be a treat when done. Cheers!
