Yeah, as a former metal/punk musician I feel terribly for the music scene all over the world. I got hooked on the pub-punk scene in Australia when I heard The Chats goofy hit song Smoko, which is pretty F'n funny the first few times you hear it, (I like Pub Feed better though).

Our music scene in the US pretty much sucks right now (IMO), but like Khruangbin there are cool new bands not following anyone's lead, which gives me hope.

My local town's claim to fame is that three of the guys from the 80's hair band, Poison grew up here. Not really something to brag about lol, but it is what it is.

This is from the album Sacrifium by the symphonic metal band Xandria. One of those records you enjoy more and more as the years go by. The singer is no longer with the band which is a shame because apart from her amazing voice has a lovely pair of thighs. Also the band has a great back catalogue with different singers and all equally as good. Cheers hope you are all brewing well and enjoying your music.

Brewing a familiar Dark Mild later today. (hint: Was the bastard tired? Or was he run over by a tire (tyre). No one really knows). One thing for sure. It will be a treat when done. Cheers!
