Double Dry Hopping was created by Eastaugh
I am interested in double dry hopping one of my beers but am unsure of what the hop schedule will look like. I've also heard that you should take your dry hops out after 3 days in the wort otherwise you will get some grassy flavours. I'd personally like to just dump the hops freely in the fermenter instead of putting them in bag so I don't have to take the bag out and introduce oxygen to the fermenter.

What is everyone's experience or opinions on this topic?
I'm keen to hear.

Cheers!

You won't get grassy flavours, only some hops and will likely take over a week. Just go for it mate. Cheers

Brewing a familiar Dark Mild later today. (hint: Was the bastard tired? Or was he run over by a tire (tyre). No one really knows). One thing for sure. It will be a treat when done. Cheers!
