Great vid gash that's a really cool idea, I need to make a hlt for my setup since I'm currently heating mash/sparge water on the stove. Will one element cut it? And how long does it take to heat up?

Johnson i have a 50 litre keg HLT with two of these elements exactly like Gash has it setup. 45 litres of stone cold tap water takes about 60 minutes to reach a rolling boil. I would definitely suggest using two elements to reach and maitain a boil, if you need to just plug one out if it starts to boil too much, but far better to have two than be looking for an extra one mid boil. ;)

Brewing a familiar Dark Mild later today. (hint: Was the bastard tired? Or was he run over by a tire (tyre). No one really knows). One thing for sure. It will be a treat when done. Cheers!
