It did turn out nice mate. Bloody beautiful. I see what you mean about the nelson sauv, and having never tried the original, I would personally swap that out for extra citra or galaxy or similar.

I did what you did with a high chloride ratio and found it did produce a nice malty flavour.

Thanks for all your input man I appreciate it very much.

No worries. Will make a donation on Patreon in the near future. Just a bit poor at the moment.

Hi Gash, thanks for this recipe. I've downloaded it and put it into my Beersmith and saved the new profile to my equipment, but when I open it there are some pretty wild numbers in there. Such as Batch Volume 87.09l bottling volume 85.55l and so forth. Is there another place I can access this profile to save to my Beersmith.
Thanks for ALL you stuff mate, I love it.

Cheers

Hey Gash
I have been using your Coopers NEIPA recipe for a while now its awesome thanks! Last one I did I threw in 4 blood oranges - it was sensational.
I am trying to work out how to tweak it to make a really hazy NEIPA. Would you change the grains to get that pale milky effect? I notice a lot of recipes use wheat? The thing I really love about your NEIPA is the bitterness still comes through from the coopers tin! Most hazys dont seem to have much of that but I want to give it a go. Any thoughts?
Lastly, I have some stirling hops here but I'm not sure they are a good match for this style of beer?
Cheers and thanks in advance mate!
Rob

You could sub out some oats for wheat if you like, but the real haze in NEIPAs comes from the dry hop, dry hop early day 1 or 2. then again about day 5.
I haven't used stirling at all, but says its a substitute for saaz so it may not be the best bet for this beer, I mean you could add some, but I wouldn't use it as the main hop flavour myself.
Cheers!

Thanks mate, worked perfectly that time. Got the Jedi Juice on the boil now. Ran out of Citra so subbed in Simcoe for the whirlpool addition.
Cheers

Brewing a familiar Dark Mild later today. (hint: Was the bastard tired? Or was he run over by a tire (tyre). No one really knows). One thing for sure. It will be a treat when done. Cheers!
