IPA #2 - Extract was created by Gash
This recipe is very similar to the Gashsmith IPA but this one doesn't use any pre-hopped extract. The hops schedule is a little different just to use up what I had left.

1.5kg Liquid Amber Malt
1kg Light Dried Malt
400g Dextrose
200g Crystal Malt
50g Chocolate Malt
12g Magnum 60mins
7g Simcoe 15mins
10g Columbus 15mins
12g Amarillo 5mins
11g Simcoe 5mins
15g Columbus 1min

Steep Chocolate and Crystal Malt in about 2L of water @70 for 30mins.
Strain grain and rinse with a couple of litres of hot water
Top up water to 10L and stir in the Light Dry Malt and bring to the boil.
Add the Magnum hops and boil for 45mins
Add the 15min Hop additions boil for 10mins
Add the 5min Hop additions boil for 4mins
Add the 1min Hop addition boil for 1min
Turn off heat and stir in Dextrose and Amber Malt.
Cool, add to fermenter and top up to 21L
Ferment @20c for at least 10 days.

Kit Brew Day Tomorrow, Black Rock Pale ale and number 40 larger brew enhancer by mangrove jacks. And possibly some honey. Yeast US05 ??

Brewing a familiar Dark Mild later today. (hint: Was the bastard tired? Or was he run over by a tire (tyre). No one really knows). One thing for sure. It will be a treat when done. Cheers!
