Cold crashing was created by Finnroo

Hello, I think I remember Gash saying its best not to cold crash straight into a cold fridge but rather, let the fermentation chamber slowly cool it down from fermentation temperature . Is this correct? and what are the potential issues?. Cheers

Thats the way i do it Finnroo, only for the reason that my fermenter fridge is the one i cold crash in. I cant think of any reasons why it would be a problem, yeast has already done its job.

Thanks Pale Man, I cant either but I seem to think there is something going on but I cant put my finger on it. I want to crash in another fridge to free up my fermentation fridge for a kit and extract im doing at the moment. Cheers mate and thanks

I dont worry too much unless its some extremely rare yeast you want to baby.
