I'm trying to find out what Cooper's uses as far as hops, grains, etc.
What can this tell me if I'm using Maris Otter (for instance) and Fuggles or EKG for the hops?

Since I haven't been able to find Cooper's LME or DME within several hundred miles, I'd like to know how to create a similar AG recipe for their EB kit. I know it won't be perfect, but close is good enough for me, since I can't get the real thing that easily! Any ideas?

Its going to be very hard to replicate it authentically. I have no idea what grains they use, my guess would it actually be all Australian grains. I can help you with a bloody nice beer that I make that got 4th the Australias Beerfest 2017 in the English Ale section. ESB or could even pass for an American Amber Ale.

23 Litres batch (6 gallon)
OG 1.049 Alc 5% IBU 28approx

4kg Ale Malt, 2 row is fine, or Maris Otter if you like.
680g Munich Malt
340g Crystal Dark (Simpsons) (157.6EBC)
50g Roasted Barley.

Bitter to 26IBUs with whatever you want at 60mins, I used 18g Warrior (14%)
I added 30g Cascade 30 secs before flameout, you might want to use EKG or similar. with 10 min steep after flameout.
I just used US-05 yeast.

I can change it to whatever units you want.
Cheers!

Somehow my reply got wiped out and I can't remember what all I said ..... anyways, when I put in the metric measurements, BeerSmith automagically changes them to U.S. measurements. The only measurement I haven't found for sure is the conversion between EBC and IBU's, but they probably are in there, I just haven't found it yet ;>).
Thanks for the recipe, hopefully, one day I'll get to that as well!

Yeah, I meant EBCs and SRMs (Lovibond) - I haven't found the conversion in BeerSmith, but I found a nice online converter here: www.castlemalting.com/Default.asp?N=Calc...=13&Language=English

Sorry for the confusion!
