Hey All

wow what a morning and a day and now i am so much trouble my grumpy old bat of a wife opps lovely lady of mine is threatening to sell all my gear before i even start brewing again

well it started about 11pm last night (i tell ya kegland a quick packing orders it was in the locker 11.15, and if i hadnt of driven to South Australia and back yesterday i would have collected my goods) this was the 1st purchase my partner hated grain mill and the parts

2nd order i woke up and said stuff my brand new fermenters need to retire before they get used (they still will get a run) better get myself a 27l fermzilla.

Again Gash watched a video of yours and trying to put it together , ya cant have fat arms and short arms to boot , its a struggle , i nearly had to call the ses or firebrigade to cut my arm off to get it out of the fermenter (rather lose an arm then lose a fermenter, i can always get my bride to brew for me)

then off to bunning broughtt some hoses for the lawns (the land lord doesnt realise it yet but he is paying for them seeing those he uses my water when he feels like it, he just dont know it yet) and they are going to be used for the immersion chillers until i can talk the witch opps mean wife to get a couter flow chiller

15 amp powerboard so i dont up set the lady in hear chores as her eqipment also requires 15 amps..

and i purchased my 1st set off tools in my life a set of spanners (i still dont know how to use these yet)

then the fun began by trying to put these things together but thats another story

someone said to me once beer is cheap if ya make ya own

since starting brewing again i reckon i have spent almost 3 grand and i have seen no fricken beer yet

lifes good though

arrgh well cmon Sunday

time to put all these things together and brew ya retern to brewing beer

well it was my 1st brew day for nearly 10 odd years mate and the last was a k&K with steep grain..

made alot of mistakes but hey iof you dont make them ya dont learn from them..

didnt get no stuck mash or sparge..so thats good thing ey..

my timings was off with things

but 1st time back all grain brewing , i was expecting stuff ups..

however everything is tasting sweat when i took the last gravity readsing before pitching yeast..

the thing is i enjoyed the day and had fun doing the brew..

i can only improve on my stuff ups

Brewing a familiar Dark Mild later today. (hint: Was the bastard tired? Or was he run over by a tire (tyre). No one really knows). One thing for sure. It will be a treat when done. Cheers!
