I just went into ebay to get a STC-1000 to make up a temperature controller for my fermentation fridge and saw these STC-3000.

I am assuming these are a new model or upgrade from the STC-1000. I've had a bit of a look online but cant find any references to them other than seller adverts. They are about the same price and they look pretty similar to the 1000 except for the wiring diagram. There is a lot of information out there about wiring up the STC-1000 so I'm not sure if I wouldn't be better sticking with them.

Has anyone had any experience with these units?

interesting i like some of the specs, but its only single controller, so couldnt have a heat and cool, only one.

Yes, there appears to be only one 'load' circuit. They state "Dual heating and cooling function" in the features, but I think this must be either/or.

Yep you have to watch some STC-1000s too some are the same, always check. These single ones are good for HLTs etc
