Wiring Diagrams was created by MTbottle
I was hoping to find some simple wiring diagrams for a control box for my single kettle system on this forum. I have an STS-1000 for 240v, a Power Controller like the one KegKing sells, I will have a 4500w/240v heating element, and the temperature sensor. I'd also like to find out where to put the contactors and IF possible, a 40A DIN breaker as well. I am a retired appliance repairman, so I know how to deal with electrical circuits, but when it comes to electronics, I suck!
I would like to have had some of those 2400W tea kettle elements that Gash has in his boil kettle, but everything here in the U.S. is 120v, so the kettles here are probably only 500 or 600 watt. It;'s a 225 mile trip to the nearest K-Mart, so I won't know for a few weeks exactly how many watts they are.
Any help would be appreciated.
TIA

I just found some of those elements on Ebay.AU, but they won't ship to the U.S. I'm looking at a couple of others (One is SS and made for kitchen equipment), so I'll get there somehow! Thanks.

I just found a ****-load of wiring diagrams/schematics HERE: Clik ;>)
Now all I have to do is to figure out where to put the parts that I will use into one of the diagrams and see if it will work!

Brewing a familiar Dark Mild later today. (hint: Was the bastard tired? Or was he run over by a tire (tyre). No one really knows). One thing for sure. It will be a treat when done. Cheers!
