Hey All

I am thinking of getting a kegerator very very soon
not that the wife knows about anyway.. she might just kill me

now i am planning on just the kegerator with out the fonts an taps i am going to buy these seperately as i dont mind using a pluto gun for the time being...

however i am also thinking of using it as a fermentation fridge as well
is this possible with these style of fridges

cheers

Yeah no date on them yet. I don’t think 27l fermzilla fits most kegerators, all rounder and most normal fermenters do.

i'm in to minds to be honest here

i am just thinking do i just jump in and go for the 4 font Series x from kegland

or just purchase and be content from serving from a pluto gun for the time being and buying the font and taps later..

i only have the 1 19l keg at the moment but do intend on purchasing more in the near future..., i basicly want to get away with bottling even though i dont mind doing it , i find it relaxing , and happy to bottle a dozen stubbies to go and play golf om a saturday or for that occasion when i knock on someones door a feel like having a drink with them..

the thing is the taps all wont have beer running on them due to the 1 keg and it just be there waiting for awhile till i get 3 or 4 more kegs..

where as i am still happy to pour from a pluto gun

i am swingging towards getting the entire lot in 1 hit and to be done with it then i can concentrate on getting a few more kegs

you have a easy going wife partner etc

mine she just gets nasty.....

but hey i love her and thats my downside and she knows it,

but my good lady is now accepting and measuring up where the kegerator is going

she has just given me the ok to chase the ingrediants for a coopers xpa clone

Hey All,

Had a delivery at the door and i thought it may have been the covid police (paranoid)

it turned out to be my kegerator

well what a shomozzle of putting it together , you need thin arms for brewing and putting brewing things together

anyway here is a pic of the 1st pour

its a Hazy neipa at 8.4%

cheers and beers

I always tell people, its basically easy, but it takes some time, fiddly as f*ck so relax but you'll likely swear a lot lol
but the end result.. you'll be happy once you've settled down with it :)
Beware how fast a keg can go with just having a small test every day lol
Cheers mate!

Brewing a familiar Dark Mild later today. (hint: Was the bastard tired? Or was he run over by a tire (tyre). No one really knows). One thing for sure. It will be a treat when done. Cheers!
