Well Pebbles i did manage to get a face full of foam while bleeding the keg when pressurizing it, filled it too much perhaps?

Gash i was told to put it under 30 psi for 24hrs, then 20 psi for a further 24 hrs, then drop to 12-15 psi serving pressure.I wanted to get it under Co2 fast as it had been 5-6 weeks between primary and secondary.

Try what they suggest. Let me know if it doesn't work properly and we'll try how I do it.

Woodfordes Wherry being kegged, following advice from Jelder(thanks) i put the keg under 2 Bar(30psi) and rocked it like a baby Then 24hrs later i will be dropping it to 20psi and rocking it again. Then 24 hours after that dropping it to around 10-12psi for serving.

Gash i would prefer if the keg gauge was in psi as its what i am used to but thats the one came with setup and i suppose it will have to do for now.

Just be careful leaving it under 30 for 24 then 20 for 24, easy to over carb. I'd be checking it when possible. I do the 30 for 2-3 mins rocking, turn it down to 16 for a day or two then its usually done.

Have now turned it down to 16psi, well 1 Bar as you suggested. Hopefully it will be ok by Wednesday. Should also mention it is sitting in the fridge at 5c currently, Cheers. :woohoo:

good thing about around 16psi, you can check it at that pressure without having to turn it down. Just test it tomorrow and see how it's going, so many variables. Type of beer, how carbed you want it, altitude plays a part, hose lengths and more.. Takes a little while to tune your system to work for you. Cheers! :)

Brewing a familiar Dark Mild later today. (hint: Was the bastard tired? Or was he run over by a tire (tyre). No one really knows). One thing for sure. It will be a treat when done. Cheers!
