Ok here is a recipe for my Sorachi Rye,
**** My plan with my recipes will be to give you %'s and IBU, and OG and FG, so you can scale to your equipment and your software.[b]*****[/b]

Malts:
2-row 73%
Rye malt 17%
C40 10%

Hops:
ALL Sorachi Ace(japan 12.6 alpha)
60 min 31 IBU
15 min 20.5 IBU
5 min 0 IBU (3 Gallon batch had a .75oz aroma addition)

Numbers:
Measured OG 1.054
Measured FG 1.007
Yeast US-05

I've got this so far, pretty close I think, I cant get C40 so made a small change, what do you think?

beer was never really meant to fit in style. however you could certainly bump it a touch. most of my recipes get listed as a certain style mainly to give a vague point of reference. this one was all about the flavor balance between Rye and Lemon notes (SA hops).
but as I said it is merely a vague reference tweak away.

I hadnt adjusted my efficiency which has been pretty good lately, I reckon that will take it up the 1 or 2 points needed. but yeah I'm not so much worried about a style with this, I just wanna try the beer I've seen them drinking on their casts :)

Hey Gash mate u wouldnt be able to give me a recipe cut down for 10 litres. Id be doing this in a bag in 11 litre pot on the stove mate. Have done your SNPA mini mash and it turned out awesome. Would love to give this one a crack as well. Cheers mate. Ant
