Don't mix up the sanitiser stronger than it needs to be 3ml per 2 Litres is plenty, beware star san/Stella san its powerful and quite dangerous when not mixed correctly, not saying that was the problem, just a reminder. Cheers Tony!

Well thats a great question. Personally I preboil all my liquor that im going to use to get rid of the oxygen before mash. Oxydation reduction ,or redox is a whole new can of worms but thats what i do. So, yes when your all grain to get ride of premash oxygen and yes when your adding water to wort for a kit brew. cheers.
