I'm often questioned about my short drying hopping schedules, I read this a couple of years ago, tried it and I really like the results so I only dry hop for 2 days, although I leave them in for the two day crash chill as well. Basically most aroma etc is extracted from the hops in about 6 hours, and at 4 days starts dropping. This is for pellet hops. Thanks to Peter Harold Wolfe for all the hard work!
