Description
Slightly less spicy than Hallertau Mittlefrüh. This hop variety has a distinct
mix of floral & slightly citrus character, with superb aroma quality.

Pedigree
A triploid aroma type hop bred by open pollination with Hallertau Mittlefrüh at New Zealand HortResearch Riwaka Hop Research Centre. Released in 1988.

General Description
A fine clean triploid Hallertau hop, bred from the German Hallertau Mittlefrüh, although slightly less spicy than the true Hallertau Mittlefrüh. This hop variety has a distinct mix of floral and slightly citrus character. New Zealand Hallertau Aroma has the ability to retain its clean taste even in older beers and is used for its aroma qualities by major brewers in the USA, Europe, Japan and Asia.
